Salt, cold hands and cooked breakfasts

Not sure what I was thinking of but I planned to blow the cobwebs off the STR. Sun was out so it could not be that cold, right?

Wrong, frekkin freezing.

My hands stopped working in about 10 minutes so I called in at the Ponderosa Cafe on the Horse Shoe Pass for a full English and then the short ride home with my tail between my legs. Hope the other two are a bit more resilient than this fair weather rider.

European Bike Tour 2013 - a simple beginning

A simple idea, too simple perhaps? 3 middle aged "should know better" bikers decide to set off on an 8 day tour of Europe on 3 very similar bikes.

Ferry's booked, all we need to do now is decide on a few nice stop overs, book hotels, sort insurance, convince the wives, and buy new bikes (might be pushing it with the last one)
